Faros - Sifnos
Efthymia Apartments is located at the Agia Irini area, along the road to Faros and at approx. a 2.5 km distance from the settlement of Faros. Here stretch three of the most scenic beaches on the island (Faros, Glyfo and Fasolou). Faros features cafés with sunbeds, restaurants serving fresh fish and assorted “gourmet” dishes, a bakery and a small convenience store. From here, follow the cobblestone trail to arrive, in just 2 minutes, at Glyfos beach with crystal clear waters and rich shade, courtesy of tamarisks. On the other side of the bay lies Fasolou, with a café-restaurant.
Apollonia, the capital, with the biggest share in Sifnos’ nightlife, lies 5 km away.
A bus stop stands close to the apartments, though, ideally, we recommend a vehicle of your own to ensure hassle-free commuting across the island.
Lastly, for trekking fans, one of the most popular trails crosses at about 500 m from the compound, connecting Kastro with Faros, paved in marble and keeping wide for the most part.
